Our environment is full of dental implant advertisements, each offering them at different prices. How to navigate these ads and what to pay attention to is explained by HanzaDent’s chief dentist, Dr. Regina Kuningas-Ott.
Dental implants are currently the best and most modern method of tooth prosthetics. Dental implants and/or dental implants allow the restoration of both single teeth and multiple missing teeth in a row. Different clinics offer implants at different prices, but how do they differ from one another?
There are thousands of companies worldwide that manufacture dental implants. Their products, or the dental implant itself, vary in terms of material, size, and the type of prosthetic structure that can be placed on the implant.
There are different alloys for implants: AlVaTi, Class 4 Titanium, Class 5 Titanium, Titanium with Zirconium.
Different alloys have varying strengths, allowing the creation of smaller implants, which is very good and useful if the patient has a future atrophied bone, and there is insufficient bone volume for a standard-sized implant.
The surface of the dental implant can also be treated differently to enhance the bonding of the bone to the implant.
The shape of dental implants can vary. Some implants are designed specifically for immediate implantation, meaning they are placed into the jawbone immediately after tooth extraction. Other implants are suitable for implantation several months after tooth removal.
The manufacturers of dental implants are also very diverse. Some companies have been on the market for decades and have a proven track record of long-lasting implants and positive patient experiences. Others are newer companies without this history.
All these factors contribute to the price of the implant. The best implant for a patient is found in collaboration with the dentist. It is very individual and depends on many factors.
HanzaDent Dentistry offers dental implants in various price ranges so that every patient can find the right fit.
Feel free to ask HanzaDent’s dentists about dental implants!
